Last weekend we travelled across the city to see The Actor’s Gang Version of Romeo & Juliet with all of the characters as Pokéman characters and it was…amazing. Ash was (of course) Romeo and there were loads of battles during the performance. The play is a super fun, truncated version of the original Bard’s work, perfect length for kids. My son went absolutely bananas over it and we left with a smile because LOVE prevailed in the end of this version. There is only one more weekend of performances for the 27th and 28th of August. It’s at Media Park in Culver City this upcoming Saturday & Sunday at 11:00 a.m. with super easy public parking across the street. And it’s free – go catch it if you can!
