It’s been raining for the past month off and on. For the first time if feels in forever the hills are green and lush again. This weekend my awesome neighborhood organization The Hollywood Orchard had a gardening and build day. The next day people got together for some coffee and bubbly for the Mini Grove Dedication. If you’ve never gotten together with neighbors for community action – getting together for gardening or beautifying your community, or political action it should be an easy yes. It feels great to come together in unity to do good works and as a fantastic bonus you get to know people and make friends. I’m sure glad I said yes when asked years ago.
