The act of photographing is not just documenting – it’s noticing with intention.
For the first time in forever carrying my big heavy Nikon and even lifting it did not make me internally moan (yay). I am soo excited at the prospect of being able to walk places and not to think about the weight of the camera and lens. Here’s to me and here’s to my lovely friend Rosemary who celebrated her birthday in Silver Lake today.
I'm a photographer, designer and mom and absolutely love taking pictures. The experience from taking photos to editing them is so rewarding. I love how photos from these fleeting moments can beautifully augment our memories of people, times and places and create a feeling of nostalgia and immediacy at the same time.
